Asked: Men, How do you feel about your wife putting on a few pounds?
I am not interested in opinions from conceded men who only care about looks.
This is a question for " good men " who truely love their wives.
Okay, my husband is deployed and comes home in a month. I just had a baby and also have a 3 year old. I have found it hard to lose the baby weight. My husband is the type that would never tell me I was fat. If my weight fluctuates, he tells me he doesnt notice. I know its a lie, but I guess I appreciate his kindness. He is not a conceeded jerk. But obviously I want to look good for him when he comes home.
Is it a huge turn off if your wife puts on some weight? Evenif its because she just had a baby?
I know that occationally he gets a beer gut but I don't think its a big deal.
While deployed though he has really been focusing on fitness. He has nothing else to do there with his free time.
Any tips? Opinion?
Asked: Healthy Dog Bones for Overweight Dog?
I have a 21 pound 3 year old pug we adopted about 3 months ago. According to her charts, she had been about 14 pounds before she was given to the foster parent! Needless to say, I am trying to get her to lose about 5 pounds. I have switched to Blue Buffalo Healthy Weight kibble. She gets fed 3/4 cup a day (same as she was getting with the regular adult food.)I put a little salmon oil in with her breakfast, and about a tablespoon of wet food in with her dinner. We walk at least twice a day, for an average of about 2 miles a day, with a dog walker stopping by twice a week. However, in the winter months I see these walks being cut a little short as the weather gets worse and it gets colder. We have a fenced in backyard, but she seems to prefer her walks as opposed to chasing after a ball. She also loves chewing her bones, which I know adds calories. She has a nylabone, but rarely ever chews on it. In the past, she's loved eating those peanut butter filled bones (which I can only imagine are high in calories and fat), bully sticks, and trachea bones. I rarely ever feed her treats, but when I do I give her small pieces of cheese or boiled chicken, or a soft dog treat like beggin strips or pupperoni. I also have a few healthier alternatives from Natural Balance. She's been on this diet for about a month, and has not lost any weight. In fact, according to my at home scale, she's gained .5 pounds. What is a realistic expectation of weight loss? Are there any healthier, durable bones I can give her and how often should I be feeding them to her? I'm afraid to cut out any more food. When we first got her, she would throw up yellow bile from lack of food in her stomach when I was giving her about a half cup a day.
Asked: Am I gaining weight? What are the signs?
Okay first off, I'm skinny, but it seems as though my face changes drastically some days where I feel ugly and days where I feel sexier than before. It also seems that whenever I eat something throughout the day I'll gain weight the next day so quickly no matter if it's a one single cracker. My face changes to a point where it gets bigger and bigger each day and if I exercise or drink water then within the next few days it'll go back to it's normal beautiful shaped slimmer form. Does anybody else have this problem? Why is this happening? Could I just be gaining weight? Or is it something else?
I'm 15 and a male. And please no stupid answers.. thx
Asked: Why am I having this leg pain?
For the past few months, I have been having terrible pain in my legs. The pain radiates everywhere from my ankles up to my thighs. It's more of a dull pain, and sometimes throbs. It gets worse when I elevate them or if I stand up for an extended period of time.I have good days and bad days. Some days the pain is completely unbearable, and some days I can work through it.
I exercise daily, stay hydrated, and remain on a pretty healthy diet. I don't understand where this pain is coming from. I am in the process of trying to get an appointment with a doctor, but treatment places are limited because of medical coverage.
I also want to add that I have the Implanon implant in my arm, not that I think that makes a difference.
I would like to see if anyone has any ideas, or if anyone has been through something similar?
Asked: How can I turn fat into muscle?
Im 13 5'11 and 117lbs, I used to eat 1600-1800 calories, but now I eat around 2,600-3,500 average is around 2,800-3,000. How can I turn that fat into muscle so that I dont get a belly? I cant lift because the doctor said im too young, and since my elbow is bent straight until they do another surgery on it which is in december. Are their any exercises that dont involve lifting gain muscle. I usually eat eggs and meat, some fat food but not much. Once a week i'll have pizza and ill eat about 3-4 slices. I can do 10 pull ups and 30 push ups I dont really do them, but ill try when my elbow gets better, thanks!
